Fashion Trend 2018

As new year is few weeks away. People are wondering what new trends are they going to follow in 2018. 2018 seems to be interesting in terms of fashion. Fashion designers and fashion connoisseurs are actively working on fashion trends 2018. Pantone has declared “Ultra Violet” colour as an official colour for 2018. Similarly Prada has introduced art embedded collection for 2018. 

The checked jackets and blazers are top in trend from Past season but it will get much more popularity in 2018 as it has gained a huge response. Fringes are back in fashion. Designers use them on their bags, shirts, jackets, scarfs, shorts and skirts etc. Fringers were popular back in collection of fall 1970’s. After that, they are in the runway again.

Haute Couture

Haute couture is the french word used for "High Fashion" or " High sewing". Haute couture is an high end fashion couture in which every detail is given by hand, which takes a lot of time and hands to complete one single dress.

As the time is passing by, people are going towards hand made dressing specially for their special occasions. There are many popular designers for Haute couture which includes Adeline Andre, Alexandre Vauthier, Chanel, Christian Dior, the International brands as well as, HSY is one of the most famous Haute Couture designer in Pakistan.

These are the Highlights of Paris Haute couture week 2017/18 which showcased some of the outstanding dresses. This Fashion week was marked as highest trend of Fashion industry in 2017.

This fall, apart from keeping oneself cozy with warm hats, the right winter hat instantly adds value to the outfit and gives one a sophisticated look. There are infinite styles of hats but the recent trend is of wide brimmed hats which is a combination of floppy style with a net covering the face which gives a chic & posh look. Men’s Formal Fashion

Youthful trends seem to prefer slim and comfortable but eye-catching formal wear. Ultra slim trousers with a double breasted jacket and a designer t-shirt seems to be the craze these days; with fashion labels like Supreme. However, this trend isn’t likely to catch on in later years as it doesn’t attract a large demographic of the fashion industry. While, single-breasted suits have been quite the favorite for most people in recent years, fashion labels are introducing single-buttoned suits with some bold material choices. In recent weeks of winter, many celebrities rocked Corduroy single-buttoned suits with dark colors to signify the arrival of the winter season and provide a warm, comfortable feeling. This suit was not only a bold move, but it also signified a throwback to the 80’s where corduroy suits were in abundance, however in a much more audacious style. Plaid suits also made a return after some 6-7 years along with suits with light colored jackets with dark high-neck tops in winters.

                                                 

When it comes to footwear, Chelsea boots have been a mainstay since last year and have flourished brilliantly with all kinds of modern fashion wear. Grip boots seem to be following the similar style that Chelsea boots did when they were first introduced; providing a rugged and manly look yet an elegant and subtle aura. But Grip boots may be too outdoor and informal to be a mainstay with suits and formal wear. Whole-cuts and Oxford shoes still remain the most favored shoe for all fashion enthusiasts.
